Robust-Aire™ Diffused Aeration
NEW Kasco introduces a new offering in our trusted Robust-Aire™ Diffused Aeration product line. A first in the industry, our patent pending Aire-Guard Cabinet Technology combines an innovative approach to airflow with additional filtering to ensure cooler, cleaner air, all within our largest-ever cabinet, capable of running up to 12 diffusers.
Robust-Aire™ systems pump compressed air from a shore-mounted compressor through self-weighted lines to a diffuser on the pond, lake, or tank bottom. The diffuser then continuously releases micro-bubbles that rise to the surface carrying large volumes of water. This induces oxygen-transfer as well as beneficial water movement and mixing.
All Robust-Aire™ diffused aeration systems are available with an optional remote manifold, allowing the compressor to be installed up to a mile away from the water’s edge.

Simply The Best
It means a lot to sell and service equipment made by a company that has so much pride and confidence in what they build.
The Highest Quality
I have been selling fountains for about 20 years and sold them all. Kasco, without a question, are the finest available.
A+ Customer Service
Got the “trippers” last night in the mail. Thanks for the prompt and superlative service. Will look to Kasco for all my future pond needs.

A popular fishing pond located in a metro area park had experienced multiple winter fish kills. Following consultation with the staff at Kasco, we recommended a Robust-Aire System 1. The systems are simple and easy to install with limited assembly needed. The unit has performed well through our Minnesota winters and eliminated winterkill along with costly fish stocking. Robust-Aire has been an inexpensive, effective solution. Mike O’Connell – Lake Management, Inc
Jim Coyle – Cogent, Inc. –
A homeowners association of approximately 170 homeowners in Overland Park Kansas has three lakes. The grounds committee chairman worked with Cogent, who consulted Kasco’s Customer Support team, towards finding a satisfactory process and solution to handle the moss on the surface of the lake as well as working towards cleaning up the muck at the bottom of the lakes.
We presented the HOA with a very cost-effective proposal to provide Robust-Aire™ Diffused Aeration from Kasco along with Macro-Zyme Beneficial Bacteria to clean up the muck on the bottom and reduce the moss on the surface of the lake.
The HOA grounds committee members easily installed the system. Within a few weeks, the lakes had virtually no moss and the water was cleared up satisfactorily. The HOA and neighbors provided many nice comments regarding the significant improvements.
Paul Gilbert –
Installed the 1/2 hp aerator for my pond last august (10 months) have noticed no difference in algae in my pond.
Kasco –
Hi Paul, thank you for contacting us. Aeration alone will not kill algae and may not get rid of it quickly. The oxygen added helps to speed up the decomposition of organic nutrients in the water which feed plant life. The aeration is adding more oxygen to speed that up, but a visual difference in algae growth may not happen quickly. How deep is the pond? Is there an inflow of water coming into it? It might be helpful to look at a bacteria treatment to complement the aeration. This will increase the decomposition rate by adding billions of new bacteria to the pond to speed up processing of the nutrients and organic material. Aeration and even bacteria will not kill algae, you’d need chemical treatment to kill the algae. However, aeration and bacteria together can reduce nutrients and can eventually limit plant growth with fewer available nutrients in the water column. We would be glad to continue talking through the in’s and out’s of aeration and what might be best for your application. Give us a shout at 715-262-4488 or sales@kascomarine.com. Thanks, Paul.
