Inside Sales Representative

Kasco Marine is seeking a full-time Inside Sales Representative at our home office in Prescott, WI.

Position Overview

The Inside Sales Representative is an integral member of our Shared Services team. Customer service is the driving force behind Kasco’s success in the industry. We hire, train, and retain the best customer service specialists in the business, setting us apart from our competitors. Our team is knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. Most importantly, inside sales representatives are empowered to do whatever it takes to make our customers happy. Kasco is seeking the right person to join this highly effective team. The ideal candidate will bring some knowledge of mechanical or electrical equipment and/or aquatic ecosystems. Kasco will provide extensive and ongoing training in our products and our business. Key to success in this role will be curiosity and eagerness to learn, along with excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Keep current clients satisfied and deliver exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis.
  • Provide timely and accurate information about our products and their installation and maintenance to our distributors, end users, and prospective customers.
  • Field incoming emails, calls, and messages; answer or redirect customers as needed.
  • Field incoming technical calls; troubleshoot unit issues and failures.
  • Provide guidance to customers around sizing of equipment specific to their individual applications.
  • Document equipment failures and complaints.
  • Provide “front line” information to our outside sales and leadership teams; escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the Outside Sales team and support them in building and managing customer relationships.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert in Kasco product lines and applications and stay current on product design and maintenance recommendations.
  • Liaise between the customer and internal teams.
  • Understand and represent user needs.
  • Understand and reference data in our ERP system to assist with order processing and troubleshooting.
  • Cross-train to provide support to shipping, order entry, new account set up, and repairs processing.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • HS Diploma.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary Education.

Physical Requirements

Required to sit or stand for long periods of time.
