About

AquatiClear™ by Kasco is a water circulator designed for docks, marinas, shorelines, canals, and other waterfront areas. Featuring patented Clean Current Technology™ and a crown-shaped composite prop guard, it helps floating debris pass by rather than collect around the unit, reducing maintenance and supporting reliable operation.

AquatiClear is ideal for locations where algae, leaves, sticks, and other floating debris regularly create maintenance issues. Its clog-resistant design helps maintain consistent water movement, reduce odor, and limit debris buildup around waterfront structures. AquatiClear does not remove rooted aquatic plants.

How large of an area can AquatiClear effectively cover?

AquatiClear coverage depends on horsepower, water conditions, and installation angle. Larger units move water farther, helping clear larger shoreline areas of debris, algae, and stagnation. Refer to Kasco sizing guides to match your site conditions.

How deep does the water need to be for AquatiClear?

AquatiClear requires adequate water depth for proper operation, typically several feet depending on the model. Shallow water kits are available for low-depth installs, helping reduce turbulence and noise while maintaining effective circulation.

What does the DNR say about running AquatiClear units?

AquatiClear is designed to move surface debris, but directing flow downward could disturb bottom sediment. which could be considered dredging. Always check local regulations before installation.

Does AquatiClear prevent weeds or just move debris?

AquatiClear will move surface debris and non-rooted, floating vegetation. While it does create continuous water movement which decreases conditions for weed growth, AquatiClear shouldn't be viewed as a weed prevention or removal method.

Can AquatiClear be used in winter to keep water moving?

No, AquatiClear units should be removed during winter as they're not designed to be a dedicated de-icer. De-icers are engineered to withstand harsh winter conditions. For consistent ice control, a Kasco De-Icer is recommended.
