Introducing Kasco’s Home Series Diffused Aeration Systems

Prescott, WI [December 10, 2024] – Kasco announces the launch of its new product, the Home Series Diffused Aeration System. Designed specifically for homeowners with small, residential ponds, this system provides a simple, yet effective, way to help eliminate and prevent common pond issues like weed overgrowth, algae buildup, and unpleasant odors.  

Home Series Diffused Aeration is modeled after Kasco’s existing line of diffused aeration systems geared for larger ponds and professional pond managers.  It still provides the quality and performance customers expect, but comes in a smaller, more cost-competitive package. The Home Series line fits perfectly in residential settings by being small, affordable, and easy to install and operate. 

What is Diffused Aeration?

Diffused aeration is an effective form of water quality management as it provides the most needed component of pond health – water movement. If water is allowed to sit still, or become stagnant, issues start to arise. Home Series Diffused Aeration creates continuous water movement from the bottom up by pumping air to a diffuser on the pond bottom. Water then continuously rises upward, creating beneficial movement and decreasing unsightly buildup and foul odors.

“We wanted to offer a diffused aeration system specifically designed for homeowners,” said Joe Holz, Kasco’s Director of Sales. “Our existing diffused aeration systems work in smaller settings but are often just too big for the average residential pond. We’re excited to offer something specifically designed for residential property owners – something that’s less expensive, easy to set up, feels manageable, and provides a sense of pride and ownership over their water feature.”  

Home Series Diffused Aeration works in ponds 2 acres and smaller with up to 20 ft. of depth. Visit our website for more detailed sizing recommendations. Each system includes the diffuser(s), compressor, stainless steel cabinet, and weighted tubing. The cabinet includes washable and replaceable filters, cooling fans, and is small enough to blend with the natural shoreline. The cabinet should be installed on shore away from areas that may flood and can be bolted to the ground or mounted on a vertical structure using the optional mounting bracket (sold separately).
